Representing the Lady Rothschild-John Gosden axis here, her rivals include Cheveley Park Stud’s fellow debutante Statuesque (GB) (Sea the Stars {Ire}), a Gestut Fahrhof-bred half-brother to this term’s unbeaten G2 German 2000 Guineas winner Karpino (Ger) (Cape Cross {Ire}), who cost 375,000gns as a TATOCT yearling.

His opposition includes the once-raced Ginger Joe (GB) (Medicean {GB}), who is a half-brother to the MGSW and 2009 GI Canadian International third Buccellati (GB) (Soviet Star), from Richard Hannon’s local yard.
